Allen Broadheads
 

Anyone use 100 gr. Allen Broadheads for deer...I just bought some on ebay.

If so, what do you think?

Pay 10 bucks extra and get sumpin good..................id give you some broadheads for free because i dont wanna hear about those cheap broadheads braking and you missing or losinga deer.

im really sorry to say it but they are crap heads (one model used to be called terminators i saw my brothers kill lots of deer with years ago) now they use really thin junk blades. also wal-mart sells them for 7-10$ so with shipping you probably paid more (i hope not),i bought some for back up finish off heads and last year i shot a deer in the spine then shot one of those into it only went in like 5 inches and two of the blades broke on ribs. save them for back ups. i just got a dz steelheads at an awsome price on ebay ill sell you a 3pk for $20 shipped to your house if youd like. they are mechanical heads not sure if you against them or not but def get something different.

Personally I wouldnt think of using anything like that on an animal.

I've used Allen broadheads and have had good luck with them for squirrels, grouse, and deer.

They will kill deer, but overall quality is low. Blades are dull and many heads are not straight right out of the pack. Make sure you test shoot each one and sharpen the blades before hunting with them.

ive used the two blade mechanical head a couple years ago towards the end of the season,it did just fine,the only thing i had to do to them was tighten the set screw on them they seemed a little loose for my liking...but overall they killed some deer...

Ive bought heads like this in the past a couple different times(when times were tight), every time I was extremely disappointed every time I shot a deer, the blades tend to be pretty dull out of the package, get better blades if you can. If not, you got to do what you have to do to get out into the woods.

That Allen stuff is mostly junk. Buy a quality head.
