In Illinois you can't do it. Can youhunt over a feeder in your state? I hunted in texas for 9 years and never found the big bucks coming to the feeders during shooting hours. What is your experience if you are allowed feeders?

Yes, it's legal.

No I dont do it.......but only because I think it's easier to hunt deer without engaging in the practice.

I certainly don't make a habit of hunting over feeders, but my experience is the same as yours. Big boys don't come to them. At least, not until after dark.

In Missouri all the food has to be gone from the feederand the groundfor ten days before you can hunt, even if you don't know about the feeder you'll still get a ticket. I would'nt hunt over a feeder anyways!

In IL its against the law to even put out a feeder. Certainly can't hunt near one.

I think in IL. you can't put out a feeder at all anymore. I believe you used to and you had to stop 3 weeks before hunting over it. I may be wrong though. I think they stopped it when the Chronic waste disease was found.
