ditto. My hunting partner has learned too look for my backpack instead of me. With the suit he can't see me.

I've been busted drawing multiple times and as long as I stay stillthe deercalm down much quicker than without the suit.

I have one I wear over my scent lok base layers! I love it but when it gets cold I pile on the layers under it. I think the only thing that can hurt you is scent or movement eliminate them and your fine!

i use the cheap brand from bass pro i bought it last year on clearance for the whole suit was like 50 bucks or so. i think it helps its not nearly as bulky as the gillie suits but it has just enough leaves on it to break up your outline which is really all you need anyway. Ive had deer stare but eventually lose me in it. i think just using it over scent lok base layers early on would be good. I also think it would work for turkeys but its just to hot to wear anything extra by the time turkey season gets here in ohio IMO

I use the Redhead Leafy Bug Suit. $50 on sale. Probably the same one Stevezt4 has. It works great. I usually only use it for early bow and spring turkey. I sometimes wear the bottoms over my jeans for muzzleloader. Very light and comfortable. I had deer look right in my direction but could never find me. The material is a kind of mesh/netting so it's not for traipsing through bryer patches or anything. But it's great for treestand/still hunting.
