RE: RAIN

Colorado weather is some of the most unpredictable in the country. It might rain for three hours. It might rain for three days. It might be dry and sunny for three weeks.

I can tell you this . . . . of the 11years we have muzzleloader hunted in the mountains west of Antonito; we have had one "rained the whole time" experience. And about four "rained hard for several hours" episodes. A couple of brief but heavy snow squalls that melted off in four or five hours. About half the time it has been sunny and warm.

If rain is deal breaker, then stay home.
