1st buck that I see that will make me happy is the one I take but definatly nothing real small. I hunt in pennsylvania so trophys are far and few between its not like out west. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder!! Last year I passed on a 8 point just inside the ears cause i got one just like him the year before and then i did not get a buck, but i got pictures of that same deer this year and he is twice as big! Hope i get him at 10 yards again.

I Change my standards weekly - mostly by what I'm seeing or not seeing. Its rarley tag soup for me - I like harvesting a deer or two too much.
My goal is a "rack buck" - generally 6 points or better - however - I'm not opposed to taking a small buck given the right circumstances. I'm always looking to take a doe with bow.
I'm not a trophy hunter at all - but I like the idea ofmore bucks making it past 1.5 years old. We are lucky to have a surplus of deer & bucks in general.

Oh Geez, Another one of these. lol I won't shoot anything below 260". It must have split brow tines and a 9 inch drop tine on each side with a 3 inch kicker off of the left one. Thats my goal, won't shoot anything smaller.........unless one that makes me happy steps out.
