My goal is to kill a DOE opening weekend. I will shoot a buck but would rather wait till closer to the rut. So i am wanting to kill a doe in the first week or so of bowseason. Is there any calls or anything you guys can tell me thats almost a sure fire doe kill? I was told to use the true talker grunt and does would come to it, also the Can.

getting a doe is not hard if u know how to do it.

I'd use the little can to imitate a fawn in distress. I usually hunt the egde of a food plot early season as well. Care to add Mobo:D.

I like to do the same. Actually we have to shoot a doe before a buck.

I hunt the food sources and it has always worked well for me. Heck if you can bait then bait. I have never used a call for doe but a bleat may work ok.

Get a fawn distress call. This early in the season it should work well.

Yeah, start throwing some corn out right now. Elizabeth is in Area 3 right? Opens in 4 weeks. I hunt in Sieper, not that far you.

I can bait, just not in the state managed areas where I was planning to hunt. I may try some corn on the ground in the hunting club though. I was mostly leaning towards calls, but I am open for any suggestions, I think this is one of the greatest sites with alot of smart people. I ask alot of quetions because I want to learn everything I can from people from all over...
