my best tip is to hunt everyday in november. if you can dont leave your tree if you dont have to for the first two weeks.

My suggestion for mature bucks, hunt the seeking/prechase phase of the rut, Oct 31st this year through Nov 12th...before peak hits.

Hunt where you see the most does and hunt nov 5 thru nov 25 and you will run across one sooner or later. Don't overhunt your best spots early and ruin good areas before the big boys start moving. I have been doing this the last 2 yearsand have seen a big difference in sightings.
