Deer and apples???

Well i was doing a little scouting today and found several apple trees that are dropping apples right now. My question is will the deer eat them often when there is hundreds of acres of corn, beans, hay, and wheat to eat?? Thanks for any tips.

Apples are a very prefered food source for deer as well as many other critters and yes they will go out of their way to get them before "somebody else" does.

FIND A TREE TO HUNT OUT OF NEAR THE APPLE TREES OR ON THE TRAVEL ROUTE TO OR FROM THE APPLES TREES FOR THE FIRST WEEK OR UNTIL THERE IS NO APPLES LEFT!!!!!

IT HAS WORKED FOR ME IN YEARS PAST!!!!!!!

We have an incredible apple crop this year. The deer are hammering them. They love them out here. I have shot many deer in old wild orchards.

thanks for the tips, i just happened on this spot yesterday, its a cow pasture(with no cows) that has a creek runnin through it, it has a 40 acres timber within 200 yards and another 15 acres timber within 200 yards, one on each side. There is corn on one side of the creek. When i walked it there were about 5 or six apple trees along the creek, spanning 2oo yards. No tracks thanks for 2 inches of rain the night before. There is also other oaks and such on 10 yards of each side of the creek. Does this sound like an early season hot spot?? Im thinkin of puttin my camera out to see if there using it alot.
