It's kinda soggy where I hunt, so I don't have much choice. I hate cold, wet feet. Rubber boots for me.

I don't doubt rubber boots work but I can't wear them. Nobody I know of makes them in 15 narrow.;)
Arthur, you can use some 30 gal Glad lawn/leaf bags for those big ol skids lol.

And I try and wear rubber boots most of the time. I think other types of boots will absorb more scent from you stinky ol feet easier. I tuck in just to keep any scent from my lower clothes from leaving any scent on stuff. I have untucked my pants occassionally and resprayed before.

Rubber boots for early season, then rubber bottom pack boots for late Dec hunts.

I haven't found a pair of rubber boots that can stand up to the mesquite thorns on my lease. I used LaCrosse Alpha Burlys last year. I loved the comfort but they were shredded by the end of the season. This year I'm trying Bass Pro side zip snake boots. I will have to work harder at scent control but I'm hoping to get more than one season out of these boots. I haven't been able to with any rubber I've tried yet. The snake boots are Gore-tex lined so they are waterproof. I'll be buying the gallon jugs of Scent Killer this year!

I'm going to give them a try this year. The few guys that did get busted in them I wonder if another scent did you in i.e. your breath, something on your clothes, etc...??

Should I tuck my pants into the boots?
