Double Bull new Import 5
 

Have anybody seen the new Double Bull Import 5 Blind. It is like the T5 Prostaff but was Imported and is selling $349. Just woundering what the quality of the blind was like?

I'm impressed with the Double Bull blinds - at least the video. I especially like the use of the netting over the windows.

I bought an Ameristep Outhouse blind. It was supposed to be ok for bowhunting. I used it for the first time last week and there's just not enough room to come to full draw without the arrow sticking out of the window and my elbow hitting the back of the blind. There's no way you could use netting with a bow with this blind. It's probably OK for rifle or muzzleloader.

I actually punched two holes in the blind - first time out - because of the limited space.

dehaven, the ameristep dog house blind is what you should have gotten.
it's 5'x5'x5-10" tall. plenty of room for bowhuntin. it has the shoot-through mesh, the blackend interior, and sets up in a few seconds.
I bought one a few months ago, and really like it. it cost me $129.00
almost 300.00 cheaper than the doubble bull T5

I personally just got the chance to look over the new Double Bull Import 5 as well as the new BS 5 models. I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the Import 5. It has every feature of the T5 ProStaff including the Predator camo, full size viewing window with net and a roof zipper all at about $100 less than the ProStaff. The inside walls are double black backked so the blind is really darkened on the inside which will make hiding any movement made while postioning for the shot very easy.
As far as the Ameristep blinds, in my opinion it's like comparing a Yugo with a Cadillac. If you want something high quality that will last for years it should be worth spending a little extra and try sitting in an Ameristep in 30 - 40 mile an hout wind gusts. The walls will more than likely be flapping if the blind is still standing at all. The Double Bull on the other hand will still be standing tall with no material flapping.
