always safety first!!
With friends over and ladder stand up against a tree--Take turns shooting at a basketball(kids outgrew) that the friends and I take turns rolling by the stand at various yardage.

Ain't saying I would take a shot at a moving deer -just fun pratice!!

Sounds fun but how many time can you hit it and roll it. I cant imagine it holding air after a shot.

you would be suprised!! I don't know alot about the types of basketballs but this one seems to have thick walls!! Didn't bounce good but still rolled!!

That sound great I think I will climb a tree this afternoon and try the same thing. I am sure the ball wont getto many hole if it is rolling while I shoot.
