Typical VS Non-Typical
 
OK....I'm going to sound very novice here.....

What is the difference?

I ain't no expert but I'll try--
Typical has points kinda uniform--Brow tines--G1's---G2's--G3's--etc...
Non-typical has points in places where you don't expect them---split brow tines---points coming off main beam at different angles-sometimes alot of sticker points---drop tines--
Like I said no expert just IMO.

Simplictic but accurate...good enough explanation for me. Now if someone could offer up a couple pictures of both, that'd help him out as well.

doesnt it work that if the difference between both sides is more than "X" inches, it counts as non-typical....even if there's no drop tines or split beams or any of that jazz?

Really depends on how you wish to score it doesn't it? You can score a nontypical as a typical but would lose major inches in deductions.....
