RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
![]() ORIGINAL: brown_boy09 I was just wanting everyones opinion on the use of Scent Lok and if you think it is a must for Whitetail Deer hunting. Personally myself I do not have Scent Lok but that is prolly just because its too much money for it. Thanks! For those that want to pounce on this statement, fill free show your intelligence. |
RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
I'll be your huckellberry. You own it and don't know if it works, that does it for me.

RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
Lungbuster, don't let this topic discourage you.It happens to be one that seems to get a lot of fellows panties in a bunch. Why someone would care what someone else spends their money on is beyond me.Unless I am giving someone the money It is none of my business how they spend it.
My personal opinion is that it is not necessary, but I do believe it helps.I have had two sets of the liners over the years and I have noticed a difference in the way deer respond to me when they are down wind.I will say now my scent control routine is so rigorous I rarely get winded with or without the liner on. |

Hey atlas, nyahh nyahh nya nyahh nyahh[:-]
because you have nothing of value to add on the topic. I am the one who is stupid? You are the one who goes on defensive every time someone makes a statement you don't agree with. Lighten up dude. You are the childish one. Cause that is what kids do atlas. They argue. Now if you don't have an educated reply to this thread why did you respond to begin with? Childish. You wanted to argue. |
RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
*heavy sigh*..............And yet another good thread gone bad by childish finger pointing........say fini.......

RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
To talk negatively about a product is not to "bash" it. If no one ever said anything bad about anything on this site, it wouldn't be worth much. I've learned a lot here. I don't have a motive in any of this and neither do most of the posters on here, other than to give their honest opinions. The argument that we are giving the antis ammo by arguing over the merits of scent-lok or any other piece of hunting equipment is pure nonsense. All that said, I don't post much on these topics anymore. The last one I posted on was where a kid was trying to figure out how to spend his very limited funds, be it on good arrows, broadheads, a rangefinder, etc. or Scent-Lok. I thought that was the appropriate time to speak my piece. I don't really buy into the "science" and will be using silver stuff this year , but part of that is the fact that my scentlok suit is very hot (and a lot of my hunting is in warm weather), and partly b/c the camo pattern was the worst of the human blob patterns. |
RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
And what rock did you crawl out from under?
ORIGINAL: lungbuster12point06 ORIGINAL: mobowhuntr ORIGINAL: lungbuster12point06 I'm new to this forum but it seems rather silly to me to be bickering over a silly issue like this! If you think it works use it...................if you think it's crap, keep your mouth shut and don't use it! That's what's great about America we are free to use or not use whatever we want and yes free to say whatever also but like was said earlier in this thread, why bash something, just state your opinion on wether you think it is a must or not and be done with it! |
RE: Do you think Scent Lok is a must?
Now that is funny right there!:D:D
ORIGINAL: atlasman ORIGINAL: lungbuster12point06 And being new to this forum if this is what it is all about i don't think I will stick around long..........there are way too many hunting forums out here that do this same crap everyday and it gets old![:@] Don't forget to let the contest know so they can replace you with an alternate. |
