Anyone on here from around here? Or hunt in york county? What have you been seeing are you getting excited?

It's been almost 4 years, but I lived in York County for quite a while. I was in East York for about6 years to be exact. I never hunted in the county a lot though when I was there. I did hunt Rocky Ridge one year and took a doe, and also hunted in the West Manchester area a bit as well........it was always tough hunting though when I was in York County. I always had family property in Bradford County that I would travel to, and a good friend in Huntington County that I would go to hunt on as well, so I never really focused on trying to get exclusive permission in York County on good property. I didsee some good bucks at night though when glassing fields and spotlighting.......but the posted signs are thick down there.

I still visit a few times a yearwith college friends. I will actually be heading down in 3 weeks to help a buddy put a new roof on his house just off exit 10 on 83.

Where exactly do you live and hunt?

I hunt in the Loganville area. Yes your correct its definatly thick with posted signs around here and mostly all of them dont allow hunting. I live on a farm outside west york. I also have 1200 acres to hunt on my work property but so does all the other guys who wok there. Rocky Ridge is a good spot to hunt I never hunted up there but know some guys that do they always get some nice buck there. go back a page or 2 and look at some of the pictures i posted from my spot!

I live in Lancaster and have hunted York on occasion. I hunted the sgl in southern york right off the susquehanna last year. Plenty of sign but didn't see a deer. I also hunt the water company land off of 30 outside of hellam. My dad took a decent 10 over there a few years back. I usually stick to lancaster though since I have private land over here to hunt.
