How many days holiday

RE: How many days holiday
Well in a normal year I get 4 weeks vacation plus 4 floating holidays for 24 days off a year, plus 7 paid Holidays not counting weekends.
I scheduled off the two weeks of Nov to hunt however with my ruptured achilles tendon, I"m off from last week for the next 3 months still hoping to hunt at least those 2 weeks if not more now...

RE: How many days holiday
They just redid our vacation/sick time giving us personal days. We get 10 paid holidays every year and I have 35 personal days left until Februaryat which I'll get 15 more. With that said, I'll be spending alot of my time in the woods this hunting season.

RE: How many days holiday
I get 2 weeks vacation, 10 paid holidays, but.....wait for it.....UNLIMITED SICK DAYS!!! But I have a slight feeling that if I starting calling in sick every friday during hunting season that my boss would become a little suspicious.

RE: How many days holiday
I work a compressed schedule of 8 9hr days and 1 8hr day. That gives me 1 day off every pay period.
So that equals26 more days off a year (9 of which are betweenSept - Jan.)
160 hrs of vacation.
104 hrs of sick.
10 government holidays
Roughly 65 days if I used all of my leave (never happen).
The compressed schedule is great but it is tough to get afternoon hunts in during the week without using a couple of hours of leave. And with boys ages 13 and 6 and a 10 month old daughter a lot of the vacation and sick leave gets used up beforehunting season and for family holidays.
