What is this? I don't know if it is a small calf?

It's a calf. Looks like an angus.

That's what I thought... but I haven't seen them with the black and brown color like that before. I guess I wanted some confirmation.

we have a lot of the same colorations in our pure bred simmentals.

We let the neighbors cows run on our property and I havent seen this guy before but we do get pigs a lot as you can see (every size).

Could very wellbe as I am not familar with simmentals. Dad raised angus and some of the calves would get a bit wooly looking on the sides and bottom of the legs by mid summer. Sun would bleach these spots to a brownish appearance. Come spring when they lost it, they would be jet black again. Not saying this is the case here but why I thought angus.
