You mean you entered the bowhunting contest and you don't even own a bow. WOW, all I have to say is don't shoot at a deer until you know where your arrows are going. The deer deserve at least that much respect.

You should have started this a couple of months ago. Practice, practice , practice, and when you think you are good enough, practice some more.

That's the best advice I can give you.

This does NOT give me a warm fuzzy feeling about the buck contest.....[&:]:D

Oh man......I could talk to you for hours.......But to break it down into a nutshell......Shoot as many bows as you can in your price range. The pro shop can help you determine proper draw length and such.....You'll know the one you want. You're looking for a smooth draw, steady/stable at full draw, solid back wall, quiet, forgiving and shock/vibration free.

And picking the bow is the EASY part......You began looking at what you'll dress her up with?? The possibilities are absolutely endless.
