At least we're seeing the "pros" real secret....Hank, Night and Hale, Waddell etc...all promoting it....it's the real secret...how do any of us take deer without it?

I guess as along as its legal, you can't bitch..Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion though. I know here in michigan, when they legalized baiting many years ago, it totally change the habits of the deer. Right now, all the deer are in or around town and when you leave the closeness of the town the deer disappear.. They dont even migrate in the winter anymore. They stay all year round..

I dont watch any of the shows where the host has both a hunting and a fishing show, Babe, Hank, Jimmy and a couple of others. The last time I seen Hanks show, they said "Come ear Deer" and least 25 times and the show was not half over befor I turned it. I just couldn't take it no more!

I hear ya Rob, just sitting here waiting for American Archer to come on. Im convinced Hank sold his soul to C'mere deer, and is now obligated to put it on everything, from bait, to the cereal he's eating right now.

American Archer is coming on now....cool they are going to talk about tracking dogs, as I listen to my little Axel (a wired haired Dachshund, tracking dog) bark at the neighbors dog on my porch...this should be interesting...at least there will be no Come're Deer or whatever...lol [8D]

WOW we touched a nerve. Jealous...ha that makes me really laugh.:D I mean really laugh. Hank has nothing I want including Come're deer and it has less to do with HOW he hunts as it is how BAD the show is because of the informercial overtone. I could care less if he throws out some bait, and hunts there if they didn't mention it every other word!!!!!!!! The show sucks, Hank not so much. I really, really enjoy his fishing shows but the Come're deer or however the hell you spell it, SUCKS. Sorry Paul, it sucks!....Hank as a person, I enjoy him.

You don't have your caffiene, I'm loaded up on pain killers and still have pain, so maybe I'm just feeling ornery...lol I'll lighten up...

RE: Sorry, But Could Hank Parker take a deer

Paul, let me try to translate this the best way I can. As a D-1 college pitcher, I've given up a good share of home runs to great hitters. Something that really bugs me is when the ball comes off the bat and everyone knows its going out of the park, and the hitter stands and admires it, raising there hands or doing something to showboat...While this is not "illegal", I still dont like it. So the next time that hitter comes to the plate, I hit him. Am I jealous of him? Hell no. I get him out 8 times out of 10. But in my opinion, a guy showboating on a homerun is bad for the game...Just my point of view. I can't hit Hank Parker with a fastball, so I just rip on him for hurting the sport of hunting on these forums.

Paul...

Baseball's perfect.....in that we always knew we could police the game ourselves. "Criminal"? LOL.....Baseball has certain nuances and traditions that are bigger than the game. It would be criminal NOT to police it.

Nope. No rule against it, either (technically). I can tell you this......

Steal a base when you're 12 runs up in the 8th inning.....and there isn't a player on the field.....a manager in the dugout.....or a real fan in the stands that don't know what's coming, next.

To me....that's perfect.

And we wonder why every new hunter that signs up here starts asking about what attractant and what scent and what call works the best!!!!

That is all they see on TV and DVD's. They think that you cannot hunt without it.

I saw one of his shows a few weeks back. They were hunting in Kansas, and saying how great the C'Mere Deer was. They had piles of it everywhere. Hank even drove out with a pickup load of the stuff. But it still took them 20 DAYS of hunting to kill a buck. If that stuff is that great why would it take 20 days kill a buck over it?

Dead on right there. Not just in baseball either...I could give you an analogy from basketball, football, whatever. It all comes down to how we the "athletes", or fellow hunters police the game, sport, or hobby. Some organizations have done it better than others...Lets not forget, some steroids that use to be legal, are now strictly prohibited. Im not gona compare C'Mere Deer to HGH, but I think you get my drift...

I really really hate the show[:@]!!! It's not only the C'mere deer[:'(] but the fact him and his sons look soooo staged. I really like Michael Wydels shows because he endorses the product but not on his show. But I just wish the Outdoor channel could be the good shows like realtree, mossyoak, gettin close, archers choice and the few others that there are.
:D

Did you see the bucks they passed! Like Im really gona sympathize with poor ol' Hank because all he's been seeing for 20 days are 140 class bucks. Man, I really feel sorry for the guy when he isnt seeing the 160 class deer he wants to kill. Ya, we can all relate to that can't we!? Hell, I've went months without even SEEING a mature buck, and i know Im not alone on this...What a fricken joke, ya I feel so bad for Hank...[:'(]

Rob... I had to drive to Oklahoma yesterday to attend a memorial service for my cousin. My pickup's suspension is tighter than the drawstring on my pants -rough riding S.O.B.- and my back's killing me. Didn't sleep last night, I've taken some of MY pain meds and I'm feeling more than a bit fiesty myself. So I'd better not actually toss my two cents into this fray. I could easily turn this sucker into 10-pager... if not get it locked. [8D]

But I will post one quote and ask one relative question about it for consideration by the assemblage...

What makes these products any different in any way from 99% of all the other products hawked on TV or on the dealers' shelves?

Hate to say it ,but it's all about the money these days and if you think about it so is everything else whenever you get corporate america into it.Those guys don't hunt in the real world.I don't see any hunting celebs filming the trophy bucks in my neck of the woods.hummm wonder why? Oh wait I know could it be that they would not be able to air one episode that shows them killing trophy deer? Lets face it who is going to buy a product if they can't show pictures of monster bucks that they have taken with those same products.Lord knows you can't kill a trophy deer if you don't use the products they endorse.

RE: Sorry, But Could Hank Parker take a deer

but remember, he only fishes to make enough money to go hunting:eek:
Or so he says.

Well it would take alot of money to fill the bed of your truck with C'mere Deer.

I do not really care for Hank, his shows, or the annoying Morrell Target ad with his buddy Jimmy.

Well received AP, well received. ;)

I'm feeling better, wife is home, food in my belly, fan is blowing light air over my body, I had a nap and the meds must be working, it's my thread so I guess it's alright with everyone if I lock it. I am after all, the author.. ;) Let's bring it up a notch.

The contest seems to be going quite well, let's of great ribbing, some great humor and great people, life is good...better come prime time Nov. tho. [8D]
