I all I wanted was a pendulum sight.....
but I ended up leaving with a Parker Wildfire XP outfit. My other bow is a McPherson Ultima right hand that I bought used cheap.I'm left-eye dominant, but can shoot the bow fairly good.Since I've only had it several monthsand got it to learn to bowhunt with, rather than start off on the wrong foot I decided to go ahead and invest in a left handed bow for hunting instead ofthe usedright handed bow and buying a rifle.
I may only use buck-shot and slugs in the 12ga, but I see bowhunting to be more ofa challenge than shooting a deer at few hundred yards.
Gas to get there....$20
New bow outfit and other hunting stuff.....$450
Not getting the one damn thing I went for to begin with....typical me!
I still want the pendulum sight and forgot to have them put one on.

I am glad you decided to get a left handed bow and atleast give it a try.I believe it will be much easier than most think and you will benefit from it.

Yesterday I ran about 20 shots through it, mostly to the right. I adjusted the sight and, while I'm not all over the place, I'm still not grouping very good. At this point I'm mostly just trying to adjust to shooting lefty because I'm using my weaker arm. All technique issues that will clear up with practice.
I won't hunt the first two weeks of the season, bow only, unless I feel accurate enough.I can use the bow all season, no sense wounding a deer just to be able to use it two weeks early.
By the way, thanks for the encouragement. I love the bow and am ready for the challenge.
