I just did that Tuesday, actually. Here in po dunk Ohio, I found a grand total of 1 within 100 miles.....Pathetic.

Back in the great state of Missouri, I can think of at least 7 within that same radius.
Where ya is in OHIO??

I know that without even opening the book. 4

Bass Pro, Cabelas, Sportsmans' Warehouse - all the same thing, outdoors department stores with archery departments. And the old Nix Shooting Supplies in Lewisville. It's under new ownership and a different name now, but I'll never be able to call it anything but Nix.[&:]

The shop I used to shoot for, T&Sons in Denton, closed it's doors once the old man passed away. Sure do miss the place.

There are a lot more in the area, but you've got to drive all the way into Dallas or Fort Worth to get to them.

Hmmm... there are 4 Gander mountain stores within an hour drive, at least6-10 bow pro shops within an hour, and probably a half-dozen more (smaller places) that I don't even know about. There's a gun/sport/bait shop around every corner - it's pretty ridiculous. Cabelas isan hour away. There are 13 D__k's Sporting Goods stores listed in the Pittsburgh area - all mostly an hour away.

SW PA has got to be one of the top areas in the country forgross sales of hunting equipment.

We have 3 local shops in the immediate area, plus 1 chain store. There is also another about 1/2 hour away. There is also another couple in NY, but they are not in our phone book.
So... 5
They all specialize in differen lines. One carries Hoyt & Matthews. Another Bowtech & Martin, Another Parker... etc.

Phone book shows one, and it is an hour away, there is one in town here, but it isn't listed, and there is another one a little over an hour away not listed.
