How much does a buck have to score to make P&Y? I havent taken a buck with my bow yet but im holding out for a P&Y this year.

Die Hard

38 Days!
Feel free to do whatever you want, but if you don't even know what a P&Y buck is, then why are you holding out for one?
I know what P&Y is I was just wondering what the minimum is to make P&Y but Ill just figure it out myself I guess.

Die Hard

37 Days!

I could be wrong...but to be a POPE and YOUNG buck it must score atleast 125 typical and 150 non-typical.

WOW! There are alot of impressive deer and hunters on this forum!

This is my biggest archery deer to date, I think it was back in 2002. Not even sure what he measures, but its in the 125-130 range, he was aged at 6 1/2 years old. He was on a downhill slide when I harvested him. His teeth actually popped out in my fingers when I pinched them.

I took him during rifle season, which is why I have an orange ball cap on.

A few that would make P&Y if I didn't bust 'em with a rifle....

The upper right one is my only archery deer that was good enuf for me to hang in my house.

Greg, since you have so many big bucks in your area they must be really dumb, just like Motown's. Actually, yours must be really, really dumb since you can take them wearing that awful camo.

Great pics guys, and congrats. Keep em comin.
