I hunt primarily in the afternoons and usually only hunt mornings during the rut - this allows me to enter the woods quietly and also I have seen three times the deer in the afternoons

How bout you better luck in the afternoons or mornings

I always prefer mornings (but not during a full moon phase). I can be just as quiet in the dark as long as my stands/blinds are put in appropriate areas for easy entry.

I woud love to hunt more mornings. But I'm pretty limited...I hunt more evenings due to work.

I hunt when I can, but prefer mornings, as usually better hunting for me, and equally important, I love the start of a new day, watching the sun rise.

I have always liked hunting morings more i love watching the sun rise and the animals come to lifeespecially in the early season when its hot like now!:D

I think I have shot almost all of my deer in the morning , but that was gun season and way after the rut. So this year will be my first year with my bow during the rut... cant wait.

I love the morning hunts. With it being all quiet and slowing the forest wakes up. I have only shot one deer in the morning bowhunting but I am in the woods all the same.

I love the evening hunts. The woods filled with noise as you first get into the stand. The birds seem to turn off like a life switch. Then the deer start roaming.

I have killed all but one of my deer in the mornings, so my favorite time of the day to hunt is the morning, obviously. But I also like the morning better b/c it is usually cooler, I enjoy watching the sun come up, and if you have to track a deer, it is daylight. I hate tracking deer in the dark.

depends on the time of year. I only have one really good morning stand which is saved strictly for the rut. All my other stands I end up bustin deer trying to get to them early. It also works out that I have more time to hunt in the afternoons so that is my vote.

I prefere Mornigs but to be honest I am happy just to be in the woods so as long as its day light its a good time to be in the woods LOL

anytime after 8:30 in the morning. I never seem to come across the caliber of deer at first light for some reason. I too like hunting all day from late October through mid November. Most activity is from 9:45-1:00

I like hunting in the afternoon . BUT any time of day is good because deer just dont move a certan time of day in my opinion . Ive seen more deer 15 minuts before dark then anytime .

Absolutely love the mornings, but all my big deer have been taken in the evening. So, it's kinda of a toss up. There's nothing like hearing deer walking around and not being able to tell if it's a doe or a monster buck, then the sun comes up. There's nothing better.

I would have to say mornings are awesome next to the evenings. I've taken more deer in the morning.

Depending upon the circumstances and time of season, I like evenings and mid day. If there is a full moon, mid day is the cat's whiskers.....I've also seen more bucks during mid day.......Not that I've actually SHOT one however....

I see more deer in the mornings usually but I usually see bigger bucks in the evening.

Well for me it depends on which stand Im hunting, some are better morning spots and some evening. Me and my buddy have a saying we use which is The Power Hour. Thats the hour once sun comes up and the last hour in the evening. We hunt routes between the bedding areas to the feeding areas... But then again theres the hour in the afternoon between 1 and 2 thats been effective as well...
