Predator camo..Predator's own or Cabela's Silent Weave?
 

Never owned any Cabela's Silent Weave, but do own sets of Predator's own cotton twill. Great stuff for being 100% cotton, but mine has been through the ringer and then some! Wolfskin is not an option for me at this time.

Liked my original set of Predator........but how does the Predator in Silent Weave stack up as for durability, fading, and overall performance? Oh yeah, I prefer the heavier double pocket shirt over the t-shirts.

Cougs I really think it is same stuff.

I have Cabela's suit and wear it early season.

Greg, if Germ doesn't see this thread, shoot him a PM... he used to work in a Cabela's and has first-hand knowledge of the material. I think he chimed in on one of my various Predator threads as well, if you feel like doing a quick search with Predator and my user name (then again, you may not want to read all that would bring up ;))

Hopefullly, some others may have some field experience with it, too.

Hmm, this surprised me somewhat. I thought the Silent Weave material was a polyester/cotton blend, so in my ignorance I figured it might not fade as quickly or shrink.

It is but I have not seen it fade to bad. Sorry never looked at the Predator stuff.

Germ don't be sorry, the sort of info you gave me is what I am looking for.:) I don't have a Cabelas nearby and when I was in the new St. Louis store when they first opened up I couldn't find any Silent Weave anywhere to compare it with.

I got the deception last year from cabelas and love it but this was may first predator camo so i have no say in the comparison of fabric. I do like the silent weave:D
