Slow summer.....
 

I've been running 2 cameras all summer in a couple of areas that I hunt a little and haven't been having much luck getting any decent bucks. I don't put the cams out in my prime areas, I like to stay out of them until hunting season rolls around. I know them well enough and don't need any unnecessary traffic there.

Well I pull both cams today because I have to put them on bear baits in the next couple of days so I have an idea on where to put my hunters. To my suprise I finally gota pic of a buck that may be worth my time in a couple years. I figure him to be 2.5and hasa ton ofpotential.

Once bear season is over, I'll put them back out in a couple of other areas that I hunt a little. I just like to get pics of deer, whether I hunt that area or not.

He sure is a dandy of a young buck! Your lucky to have such awesome young whiltetails in your area.
