Relatively new to Bow Maintenance
 

I have been bow hunting for a couple years now and have up graded bows a few times. The current bow I have is starting to make alot of string noise. I was just wondering how often you guys put on new strings ? I current string I have on is about a year old and seen plenty of target shooting.

Try some siliconeScorpian String Venom. We tried it at the shop the other day and it really helps. It pulls the dirt out of the string, conditions it, and seems to quieten it down a noticible amount, but replacing strings is never a bad idea.

a string should last you longer than that...put some string silencers on it and some limb savers

Make a loop around the string with dental floss and pull tight and then slide it along your string. You'll be amazed on how much crap comes off.

I agree with Coug, replacing a string is never a bad idea.
