Game Camera update....
 

This is going to be the last update I'm going to post on the open forum save for the possibility of some hard antler photos. I am only going to update the double beamer and the big 10 here as these are the ones I am asked about..... As you can see I removed the cam from the field edge bean setup and moved it into a bedding area setup.

My local deer are starting to grow in their winter coats a lot over the past few days as you will see in the photos to follow. Poor guy's, it has been blazing frickin hot latley.

Looks like you still know where they are. That is part of the battle.

That big 10 pt looks like a lot of the deer in my area. His G2s are shorter than his G3s. One characteristic that doesn't help out in the scoreing dept. But he is a giant buck for sure.

What do you call the other one, a 4 x 4 x 2?:D

Looks like the big 10 is about done growing, but the double beamer might put on a few more inches. His tips seem to be pretty rounded yet.

Went ahead and pulled the card eh!! :D Scott how in the world do you get them to give left and rightand straight on poses like that. Those are some great photos, and well ,the bucks, SHOOTERS!! ;)you truley have some slammers in your area, hope like hell you nail one of them especially double beamer, he is my favorite!!

LOL I love the SLAMMERS tag. Did you know you were going to get some awesome bucks on the camera or was that just luck of the draw? What moultrie are you using? And what are you using to attract the MONSTERS in?

Don't ya hate when someone asks for advice... Recieves good advice from that person but still doesn't take it :D

I have an instruction sheet nailed to the tree.... How for them to properly pose for their mug shots! ;)

I come up with 168ish gross score on the ten.

I was watching the deer and videooing them from a distance. It was to far for clear footage so I put the cam up for some closeups since I couldn't get any detail from where I glassing them from.

It is the newest one that is like 4.1 megapixels.... It's the $100 one.

I am using corn to get them to stop in front of the cam.

I know you're pretty good at judgeing scores from the G2G, so maybe you are right. But I was just compareing him to one I have mounted that scores 155. He looks to be in the same class. But kinda hard to tell in pictures. Go get him and settle the arguement!:)

By the way, when does your season start? You think the bucks will still be running together?

I could be wrong as well.... A few guys have scored him Greg / MO, Shed33, Kelly / Ky etc all have came up with between 166 and 172 I believe, i don't have all the PM's anymore to go back on them.

Last Saturday of September is our opener. I do not think they will be running together than.... I only have maybe a half dozen photos with them both in the same pic.

I am doing my best to get a solid "pattern" on these two. I am going to be keeping tabs on them the rest of summer best as I can, hopefully Iwill pick up a kink or two in their daily movements. I don't let these day time photos this time of year fool me.... We'll see how much they are on their feet during daylight in 7 weeks :D;)

OOOOO I just want to get my moultrie back from the repair shop and get it out:(I miss checking it and I just sit here thinking about all the deer that are coming to feed and not getting their picture taken[8D]And I bet all the bucks decided to come in now that the camera is down:eek:
