Default How to get rid of coons?

My buddies dad owns a salon and they have been getting coons in their dumpsters. The ladies won't go to the dumpster and throw their trash away because the coons hiss at them each time. You guys have any recommendations on how to get ride of them. Its in a city so we cant really take a gun and shoot them, even though i might take a air gun or something and shoot them and try to scare them off.

Why don't you just get one of those wire live traps and catch them and then take somewhere and transplant them.

I recommend the bow route if you can. If you can't, live trap them and see if they can swim in one of the traps afterward. Make sure its legal hunting or trapping season though in either case.

Thats fun, but you could also contact the county/city and ask them to provide a trapper (usually DNR) or pest removal for a place of business. Or call a local trapper yourself.

You live in a city? Most cities of size have animal control officers/departments, so why not check into it and call them?
