music on stand
the what do you listen to thread got me thinking. do you listen to music while hunting? i know many of us have ipods and if not that at least a cd player.
i personally never have just because i would think that the deer might be able to hear it, but i have thought about using it for those longs days when you dont see anything. |

The best part of hunting, Dare I say even better than the kill, is turning off the noise of my busy life and listing to God's surround sound.

No, never, I hear most of the deer I see way before I see them considering all I have to hunt is thickets. Plus, I agree shawneeslinger, the best part of being in the woods is getting away from all the noise and distractions of the modern world.

RE: music on stand
I like to use hunting as my get away from everything. I crank my tunes enough that I have to take a couple days without so when I hit the woods I dont get some ringing in the ears. That being southern WI. Now Up north its so quiet It takes me a whole morning to adjust believe it or not.
