It's ok. I really like how miranda lambert was on the last episode. Because of that show, she is now my favorite female country star:)

its the only hunting show I always watch. Michael Wadell is a real funny guy, I enjoy watching him because he never seems to take it that seriously. Most of the folks on television seem so serious and like they arent having that much fun. Michael on the other hand is always playing practical jokes and cutting up. Or sitting in his tree stand playing air guitar listening to music. Thats awesome! And yes the last two episodes with blake shelton miranda lambert and uncle ted were realy great.

If you like that check out Getting Close with Lee and Tiffany Lakosky. Also look into Easton Archery show hosted by Fred Eichler.

Their all on the same level IMO.

Those are some good shows. I dont get to see them as much as I would like, but Roadtrips andGettin Close are definitely two of the best. I also like the one with the other married couple. He is pretty short. I know it sounds stupid but I cant think of either of their names right now.

Willy and T-Bone called him "Marvin Waffle House", and they called Bill Jordan "Ben Gordon" (Like the fish company), and David Blanton (He's my favorite) "Daniel Blanda", lol.

I watched one episode in which Waddell was hunting in Texas with a muzzleloader, and he shot a coyote that scared the trophy deer away, and it was funny the way he was calling the coyote he shot "The Deer Spooker".

Ditto. I never have to worry about that boy's sincerity. He's driven....I'll give him that.

Just in the past 2 years hunting shows have really improved a lot. The majority of them have shifted from looking like a low budget home video, to something that you would see coming out of Hollywood!

All of the shows that have been mentioned are all really good.

Here's my Top 5.

Archer's Choice or The Choice (virtually same show)
Realtree Rodtrips
American Birdhunter
Primos TRUTH About Hunting
Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures

It's a raffle they put on with all the proceeds going to the National Whitetailed Deer Education Foundation.

I would say that my favorite show is American Archer, I think the host is Tom Nelson. This showusually has some very good tips and Tom is very knowledgable about bow hunting.

Realtree Roadtrips is my alltime, hands down, most favorite TV Show. Not just for the Outdoor Channel, but on television. I haven't missed a single episode on all the seasons. Its not just about hunting, they show before the hunt, after the hunt, just at the lodge cuttin fool; a hilarious show! Last weeks episode was funny... "Well, I shot this hog, because it was attackin shcool children at the kindergarten... and this hog right here knew that he was doin that, so he was in on it....... I'm savin lives here!" -Blake Shelton... lmao!

That Tom Nelson guy gets on my nerves... He just looks like one of those guysthat he wouldn't even kill a deer if he wasn't on some private ranch or a game farm

Enthusiastic? No one is more enthusiastic.

I think he is the best shot in professional hunting, and he is shooting instinctively!!! The guy is an unbelievable shot at game animals. Also, he is honest with the viewers about the shot, which is not the case in any of the other shows people have listed as their favorites. My favorite was when Vicki gut shot a caribou and I mean she hit it just barely in front of the hind leg and she said it was a good liver shot. That about made me puke.

It's ok. A bit sophmoric for me but I've NEVER been into all that fist bump, ESPN, trendy style of approach to hunting or any sport. I don't like "unconventional" camera handling (shaky cam, zoom in then out, extreme closeups, etc) and can't stand hard edged music in hunting videos. It all reminds me of skate/surf videos. It can be funny at timesand I like seeing behind the scenes at times but just not into the frat boy mentality. Same reason I don't watch Ted.

You'll just have to watch him, Rob...and make your own decision. No problems with either of the men's passion towards hunting.

It is my all time favorite hunting show! I've only seen Season 4, but I thought it was awesome! You get to seethe whole expierience on a trip. I get a lot of laughs from watching the show and the emotion of Michael and others is great. One episode I really enjoyed from season four was when Michael, his son Mason, and some friends went out dove hunting. Mason shot some doves from his dads lap and was the little retriever of the group.
