Roadtrip to SC in 2 weeks!
 

Man I am fired up right now. Last week my buddy invited me to bowhunt opening week at his place in SC. With college starting on the 19th I told him I would have to think about it. Anyways, he calls me today and tells me I have a good chance of having a good buck in bowrange If I hunt hard 3-5 days. So I went and bought the necessary licenses and permits and just like that I will be in a tree in 2 weeks! Can't wait to get goin. :D[/align]

I think he said the town is called Estill. (spelling?) Hes about 5 minutes from Bostick plantation.

I live in SC as well. My advice to you would be bring your thermacell and lots of refills.

i hunted in estill 5 years ago in mid october and it was still 85-90degrees than. Didn't see any deer in 5 days of hunting but it was nice country. Watch the town there though its a little rough. bars on the windows of every building and a rough group of people. Good luck on you're hunt.

I second the thermacell, we like to grow them big down here. Looks like its going to be a hot one to, forecast this week is all upper 90's with no rain in sight.
