Trail Cameras did the job while I was in ND
Before leaving to ND, I relocated my cameras. One to a secluded mountain spring/waterhole and the other on a travel route.
I've been trying to get a certain tall tined 5x5 on film this summer. This is the first I have seen of him since late winter. I was glad to see he is using the water hole near where I passed him last fall and then found one of his sheds this spring. He is accompanied by a nice looking 4x5. both pix below.. I have some other critters using the water hole as well, I will post them too. |

Awsome pics, those are some great bucks and a nice bull to boot. It must be nice to check your camera and see three different deer species on there from the same spot.;)

Those trail cams are really paying off for you in your terrain. A great investment for your conditions. They are getting pretty popular here but you need to bait them to be of any use in this opencountry. The diversity of your animalsis great. As you seen... we have deer, coyotes and skeeters.
Good pictures!! Tim |
