That really depends on the stlye of hunting you do. Being from Ohio- you might want a drop away. They work great, very accurate. And they even make containment style drop aways, best of both worlds.
Myself, being from Idaho, and hunting spot and stalk. I really LOVE the WB. No worries with a knocked arrow. Stays quite! Can't go wrong with both choices!

I hate the drop away, my arrow always falls off of it I am switching to the WB. It is a personal preference thing and the drop away is a goner.

The WB is awesome for the full containment but you cant beat the drop away for the fletching clearence.. Your best to find a drop away with a full containment feature like someone already suggested..... IMHO

QAD Ultra Rest. Full conatinment drop away. In my opinion (and several others based on previous threads) it is the best rest on the market.

I have shot drop aways in the past. I switched to a Rip Cord when I was still shooting lots of 3-D's. Unfortunately, in the middle of a shoot the pull cord that raises the arrow broke. It sent me to my backup bow. Plus, try to install a new pull cord on a drop away. It is really fun. I have also seen other drop away cords break. I would say that it usually occurs to the person who shoots lots of arrows. They really work great and I believe they are a little more accurate that a WB. However, when it comes to dreawing back on that big Mule Deer or Elk, you will find a WB on my hunting bow.

WB it's great for when you're hunting and you have to put the bow down while waiting and you still want a nocked arrow.

I just got the vital Kazaway, its a fall away that completely locks your arrow in place, works good for me.

My opinion would be to go with a drop away rest. I had a whisker biscuit and switched to a full containment drop away. I wouldn't have it any other way. It is a lot more accurate than my whisker biscuit. There are tons of full containment drop away rests out there you just have to do a little research and find out which one you like.

question as to why the drop away???? so people use the drop away because it is touching your arrow for the least amount of time....thus making your shots more accurate (for some of us).........how is that different from an overdraw system????? other then shortening your brace height....the arrow will be off of or not touching your rest in a shorting time frame thus accomplishing what the drop away does???? is this right or am i missing something??? any advice would be appreciated..

I'm a drop away fan for sure. Of course whisker biskets hold the arrow in place if you're walking around with an arrow nocked. I personally don't really walk around with an arrow at the ready so i go with drop away
