Time to pull out of my hunting area?
 

Ive been using Game Cams since early May and have been checking them between 1-2 weeks up until last Friday. Season starts here In Wisconsin Sept 15th. I currently have 3 out there should I pack them up and get out until season now?

Unless you're worried about them being stolen, why not leave them there until you first hunting trip in, that way at least you possible have more up to date pics without disturbing more of your hunting area than normal. May not make sense, but just a thought.

Ive thought about that but battery life between now and then. I will keep this in mind thanks much.

I would at least put them ingood location an leave them. I would check them again right before season. I would then either pull them or put one or two on a scrape an check them when activity starts.

How about moving them to a location you aren't currently planning on hunting, but want to keep an eye on?? Could key you in on a location that might be better than your current set up.

If it were me, I would leave them and maybe check them less frequent.You should have the deerpatterned by now, so you know when to check the cams. And if their patterns change, the only way you'll know is if you're in the woods or your cameras are.
I would go through my prehunt scent elimination process before checking the cams as not to contaminate the area.
