it sounds like you certainly have some thinking and considering to do. Its not something to just jump into when you feel like it. It has a bigger responsibility to it. Think hard and choose carefully.

First off welcome to the board!So your thinking of taking up bowhunting good for you i think you will enjoy it! But remember it takes a lot of practice and dedication and i mean a lot of practice! when you think you have practiced enough? "Go practice somemore".
Find a good pro archery shop in your area and let them guys help setup your bow. And read all you can aboutbecoming an ethical bowhunter.

When I first started, I felt the same way about not having the time. So I first got my bow, I spent the first season practicing, instead of sitting in the woods. I found out that it was what I wanted to do and change some plans around to make time for archery season, and don't regret it one minute.
