I was talking with a firend the other day and we were discussing about baiting or not. Ohio is allowed to bait but you always have the people who are for it and who are not for it. I personally don't really care either way but I like to increase my chances of killing a deer or 2 each year. My firend is all about not baiting. But me being me had to throw outmy 2 cents worth. This is for everyone who thinks baiting is such a terrible thing.
1. I bet most of you who hunt also fish, and you bait fish to catch them.
2. Baiting isn't only food sources, it can also be grunting, rattling or using urine, ect.because you are trying to lure the animal in and i bet that almost every hunter has used one of them one time or another.

So if people are going to complain about baiting then that should include anything that attracts or lures a deer in.

I am guilty of baiting also, I farted once it sounded like a grunt and it had a touch of apple smell to it. I feel so ashamed........
