Removal of peep sight

I shoot with a kisser button and a peep sight. I shoot with both eyes open and have found that sometimes the edge of my peep sight covers my sight pin and makes it fairly dim causing me to close one eye, twist my risera digree or two one way or another to clear it up, open my other eye and focus on the target again. I am thinking about removing my peep sight and using the level on my Cobra Sidewinder front sight to keep my bow level. Does this sound like a good solution or a bad one?

Re-align the frame of your sight so that the peep and the frame are in line w each other. That way your pins should be roughly in the center on the peep frame. I have 3 pins and the 2nd pin is centered in the sight.
