Do you like ted nugent or tred barta better?I like ted nugent because of what he does for the sport.I absolutely HATE tred barta.He is very cocky and at the beginning of show this is exactly what he says.''Hi,I'm captain tred barta and I'm one of the best gamefisherman in the world.I've caught more bigeyed tuna then any other man alive.'' he's a bit full of himself.don't you think?

Ted is the man. But I do respect what Tred does and is trying to do. But is very cocky.

I have never met either of them so I do not know if I like them or not. I like watching either of the shows most of the time though.

I'd pick Ted simply because of his outspokenness for our sport and for gun owners rights in general. However, Ted hunts over bait, at least on his shows, more often than he doesn't. I know, I know, its a dead horse not worth beating, but at least he could put the feed in less obvious piles and do fewer interviews without feeders in the background.

I really liked when Tred shot that Grizz with his long bow. That deserves some respect right there.

I like both of them....I like ted for his politics, and tred for his hunting style. Wheatley, that was awesome when tred took that alaskan Grizz, I really liked treds show when he went to colorado for the public land elk hunt...that was pretty fascinating. tred is a little too cocky though.

Well i dont know tred, though he is cocky but if you have done it then why not be cocky about it..i think then you deserve the right....

As for ted, well i do know him... Ive talked with him at a few different events, archery shops, and at Claudes place(owner of oneida). Now most of these times were not for more than a few words but he always comes across like a all around good guy... The times i did get to have conversation wiht him, showed he is down to earth...

I thought that I didn't like Ted, until you guys changed my mind. Now after watching his shows a couple of times ...I'm becoming a Ted fan. I never realizedhow much he didfor our sport!

I totally love Tred's dumb ass he cracks me up! And how can you not respect what he's trying to do. He does it THE TRED BARTA WAY!;)

I have to disagree Steve, I think Uncle Ted has done and is doing great things for our sport. I disagree with his high fence and bait views. But he still sticks his head out on the line for us all. So yeah who cares if it is for a little self promotion he deserves a little.

I find them both equally annoying at times.....but I've never questioned either's commitment to our passion. We're better off with both of these men on our side.

I'm glad that Tred does it the hard way. So could many of us if we had the financial backing, and a professional guide. The episode where he attempted to stab a pig with a giant knife was ludicrous. Don't get me wrong, I'll still keep watching...

I find Tred Bartato be an interresting character to say the least. He's definately quite the fisherman/captain, and yes when it comes to the long bow he does try to do it the hardway(stalking grizzlys with hand made arrows[&:])........Although when I saw the "pig stabbing" or hunt....whatever, his rating went down in my book. I've seen many of his episodes, but it always seems to be the same three or four. I've yet to see him kill a whitetail, although I'm sure he's at least strangled one or two somewhere along the line.

I really don'thave a constuctive comment for the Nuge.

No your not, I was going to ask who the hell Tred is and what channel airs his show. I see the channel part has been answered. Are his shows geared more toward fishing or bow hunting?

Tred is more fun to watch, but Ted is better for the community. Ted supports all hunters, I doubt Tred would fight for gun laws or anything, since he's so arrogant about the way he hunts.
