Video of me shooting the Ross today

Well after doing that Blazer vs. Quickspin review, I decided to do this with the Ross for the first time. Any tips would be appreciated, I've been shooting REALLY well as of late. Only thing I see is my follow thru needs a little work, and I torqued a hair on the 2nd shot.

You could work on the smoothness of your draw as well....

That's to much movement for a "hunting situation" IMO.

It isn't terrible but could be smoothed out a bit.

Yeah I was getting very tired after shooting all day. I may get another one tommorow or something.

I was given a good bit of advice awhile ago. Practice shooting only one arrow, that's right one arrow. A friend of mine gave me the idea. He said shoot as though it's the one arrow your going to shoot @ a deer in a real situation. Pretty rare that you get to fire off multiple shots at a deer. Now that's not to say do it all the time, but pick a day & go out & think of yourself in a hunting situation. Try shooting thru some trees/brush, whatever that makes it challenging. Video your form w/a fresh arrow.

I agree. Thats the first thing i noticed. Try keeping your arrow pointed toward the target when you draw.

I agree with Scott and drhntr. What you gain in the extra poundage....you give up (and more, in my opinion) in stealth on stand.

Your body size looks better suited for a Hoyt, though.

(I keed......I KEED!);)

Jerking the release as well coug, squeeze that trigger.

I agree, Squeeze the trigger don't pull, this will cause your bow to pull along with it. Also I noticedit looks likeyou have a death grip on your bow just relax your grip maybe open your hand a little. When you grip tightly on your bow this can cause you to sometimes tweak your bow a little causing inconsistencies in your shooting.

Aw, heck I see what the problem is; you're shooting with the wrong hand![8D]

I noticed you punching the trigger in the second shot as well. Also agree on the sky pulling as well. Try to keep the bow pointed straight down range and pull straight back, you'll get busted a lot less if you can do that. I've drawon my bow with deer looking straight at me by doing this because all of the movement is slow and straight back.
