i'm thinking of cresting some arrows but would like some ideas or technique on how you do yours . Show me some that you have so i can see what i might want to do to mine . I was thinking of white with a color fading into it but not sure how to achieve this

sure thing Rhody... I just know there's a bunch of pics at the end of different designs people were coming up with... (last couple pages specificall)

Also, there'sa thread in the classifieds by someone who does a first-rate, professional-type job and offers his services... You may get some ideas by looking at his pics.

Rhody, the fades you are talking about are usually done with an airbrush.If you have any questions during your cresting project, feel free to pm me with them.

Also, try to use a lacquer paint, if you can find it.;)

arrows42071 i checked out your work in the classified section and they look great and reasonably priced. I was thinking of trying it my self just for kicks . The fade is done with airbrush you say .can it be done with the spay paint or is it better with the air brush ? I have an hvlp sprayer i use at work on cabinets would that work or would it put out to much paint for such a small area ?

I suppose you can use a can, but it might look like you used a can too, LOL

Do you have a detail sprayer for your system? Something like that might work.
