My advice; Don't decide to start shooting a month before season opens.

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

You could start with sighting in left to right the same way you sight in up and down. Start there and if you can't get it where you need it then there possibly other issues! Sounds like a simple sighting in!

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

Make sure the bow is in centershot, and chase the arrow. Get it sighted in......

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

In other words, if it is hitting left, move the pins to the left. Follow the arrows with your pins to sight it in. Ideally, you'd have it paper tuned to be sure your broadheads don't go way off the mark.

I heard the best time to rip the bow out of storage was October anyways. . .still a little early!

The only time its good to get the bow out in October is when you're buying it fresh from the store. Nothing like purchasing a bow the night before you hunt with it.

It still has that new bow smell the next morning on stand.

Nothing a little "scent killer" won't fix.

Oh you don't want to get rid of that new bow smell.

It drives the deer wild.

They come right into stand with bullseyes painted on their sides and everything.

Hmmmmmm.......maybe I better..............:D

not really sure what ur problem is but i would start at like five yards...yes five yards and sight in and then move back...that should help you out...but like washington hunter said start a little earlier next time...personally i shoot all year around

crutch 07-27-2007 09:45 PM

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

Caleb, are you left handed? I know if your shooting right handed and you are shooting left you need to move sight left. This should actually move the sight out from the riser for better clearance. If you are chasing the arrow right, sometimes you can get pretty close to where its hard to see your pins. Maybe center shot is off some?
Good luck!
Crutch

They find it hilarious.

However; most hunters will not be able to see this painted target.Only ifyou believe in the void, truely believe it exists, will you be able to see it.

So if you believe in the void. . .and the deer indeed does have a Bullseye painted on them. . .do you aim for it. . .to prove that the void truely does exists?

One would assume that a true believer would not be able to resist the temptation.

There's your answer. Centershot needs to be checked then you'll have to sight it in once you've got it. The farther back you go the farther to the left you'll be off until you fix your centershot. I'd also suggest paper tuning once you feel the centershot is found. Best of luck.

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE

Has your rest moved, or have you moved it at all. Where has the bow been stored. Strings and cables might be out of whack if it was kept in a hot area.

How about trying to help the guy instead of giving him a hard time? I would definitely suggest getting to a pro shop, rather than guess or make do with your own adjustments.
Good luck! I would bet your local shop will get you straightened out quickly.
