I bought the Element. It came with everything already on it. Didn't have to add any additional money to it and shoots just as quiet and just as fast as the Instinct my buddy has. Actually the Element has a little less hand shock.

Both my dad and bought a instinct this year. Ive go around 500 shots through it and haven't had any problems with it yet. I really like and so does my pops. I will be hunting out of a blind alot this year, should make a sweet bow for this.

I bought an Element package last year and love it. It was shooting tight groups and extremely quiet right out of the box. I shot several bows that were much more expensive at the time and settled on the Element because of the money and the fact that I simply liked the feel of it more than the others. The grip on mine is different on the pic you show, but it is a great bow. My brother bought a $900 Hoyt set up right after I bought my Element butI wouldnt trade him for anything. Cant go wrong with either one.

Is he looking for a kids bow?
No, but it will be faster and the DL is adjustable out to 28.5inches.
