What I did last night - Revisited
 

Some may recall a few weeks ago, I mounted this black bear. Well I finished the base and delivered it, but just now got the pics back. Thought I'd share.......

Thanks... A ton of work but it turned out well. GMMAT did you hear that Keith won National Champion Whitetail? North Carolina was real well represented at the Nationals this year. Chris Barnhardt won National Champion Gamehead and Mark (?) Benfield won National Champion Birds. That combined with Tommy Hall's Best in World Whitetail.... sure is hard to compete in North Carolina.[:@]:D

Well....I can say my first mount was done by the national chmpion, then.

Just means he'll charge more for the next one...lol.;)

If you guys keep it up I may blush. jamie the bill came to $2800 as it sits. But keep in mind that this was a bigger than average bear, thus bigger form, more expensive. Then the base was really time consuming. I have had guys already tell me that that was too high, but I have to justify the time I spend modifying the form, all the time in the base, etc.

Nice job on the bear. I would be willing to pay that kind of money for that size bear to be mounted like that. That is excepional work.
