If I remember correctly, you have some unhuntable township or park land by you as well, correct? With that many acres, as he shoots does and you do your thing more will move in from the other property. It's still going to be a time consuming process, but as the displacement and continuous culling occur you should start to see improvement. If he can continue to get that permit and kill does throughout the year your job will be a lot easier.

That's great news for you. You should have a nice honey hole in a couple of years.

Thanks, bry. You're correct with the county land. I'm still gonna whack em.....just might stop when the rut starts and try for a buck. Of course.....if I get a buck early.....I'll smack nannies the rest of the year with a vengance.

Talk to that other farmer and see if you guys could agree on a combined number. Just a thought.

Just spoke with the farmer, today.

He said he's taken 8 does.......and seen some very nice bucks. Things are looking up.;)
