Nikon Buckmaster and Nikon Monarch 800 Range Finders

It appears the Nikon Buckmaster 800 is being replaced by the Monarch 800. I can't find any info on the older Buckmaster 800 that I'm thinking of buying. Two questions. How does the Buckmaster 800 and the Monarch 800 differ? Andmost importantly, can the Buckmaster 800 laser a deer size NON REFLECTIVE object at 400 yd like the Monarch 800does?
