Finally got my first ever mount back
 

I finally got my mount back today from last year.I did not get him with my bow, but I hat alot of history with this buck. In the first 2 weeks of the bow season, I had him at 15 yards braudside (sp). When I drew my bow back, my shoulder popped out of the socket, so all I could do was sit and watch him watch me.He stood there for what seemed like 5 min. looking at me, but I could not draw my bow because of my shoulder. And then 1 week before our gun season was to open, I had him at about 20 quartering away, and when I drew my bow, my elbow hit the tree behind me, and I bumped my trigger, arrow went about 2" above his back. And then 1 week later, I was sitting in that same tree with my gun, and he came by again. I decided that if I was going to get this guy, I had better take him now, so I did. No need to apologize. it isn't what you shoot him with, but how you hunted him, and if it was legal and suited you. Good buck by any standard. Congrats on the mount--nice work.
