well for the state of maryland i can kill 42 deer(maxium 9 bucks if im thinkin right). an some counties is unlimited does with a bow:D.

Haha I would be up for it. I will be taking quite a few does this season to get my ratio around here established to some what normal.

Exactly right! Thats why I wouldnt have a problem joining this contest! Thats one of the things I love about living/hunting in Maryland. Gotta love it.:D

Is this doe contest STRICTLY inside the season or do damage permits count too?

It used to be unlimited does in St. Mary's county MD, but I think they switched it up this year to only 10 during bow... [&o]

I have unlimited tags.....but won't enter this "contest". We've got a job to do....but I don't care who does it. I'd love to put a few people I know on 'em....and let them take a few does. They get the experience.....the meat....and I get the benefit of their labor.

If I had to guess....I'm still sticking with me shooting 8.....but I hope that number is less.....andthe objective is still reached. Sounds fun, though....I'll be watching it unfold.

Suggestion, though......if you're gonna do it....why not make it archery only. This is a bowhunting forum ;).....and it takes the depredation permit question off the board (for the most part).
