Decent Scouting Night

Went out to the one property last night to see what kind of deer were running around. Deer started to move right at 6:30 and between then and 9pm, i saw approximately 21 different deer. Unfortunately no shooters, onle 5 small bucks, ranging from one spike, a 3 point and 36 points. The one 6 point had some great brow tines, but he is young and gets a free get out of jail card this fall. Interesting enough, out of all the does we saw, only one had twins, the rest either had no fawns with them or had a single fawn. Im sure that some of the does had their fawns bedded down somewhere but i thought for sure i would have seen more. This was also the first time that we have seen more does than bucks while sitting in the field. One thing if for sure, i was already planning on shooting some does, but after last night, Jeff lookout, im following your game plan to the T.

I'm glad someone is having some luck scouting through the summer. 90% of my spots are covered in corn. Not good for summer scouting, but awesome come fall when its gone.
