String loop but be very sure on your tie becuase this one guy tied his own went to shoot at our pro shop and when he was drawing back it snapped and he shot an arrow into the ceiling.

I doubt it snapped...probably tied wrong and what the heck was he doing pointing at the ceiling in the first place????[:'(]

String, string, string,and string. I had a metal loop a couple of years ago, and it ate up my serving. I drew on a very nice 8, and had him dead to rights, BUT, my serving was compressed by the metal loop and my nock came off of the string. I found myself at full draw with my arrow still on the rest![:@]By the time I let down a redrew he was in the thicket![:@][:@][]My oldest son got him on the last day of gunseason out of the same tree.

string loop for all of thee above reasons, also, metal to metal is way to noisy
