Shot a Speed Pro Arrow

Had the chance to shoot a speed pro arrow. Seems a little light for me but that thing was humming. Shot it one time 344fps went through the target and through a piece of metal about 1/8 inch thick. Pretty cool.

Sports did you shoot it at IBO with a 100-125gr tip or did you shoot them super light?

It had a 100gr tip total weight of 300gr. I could not even think of sooting the 55gr broadhead they have. Crazy. It was shot at 28inch draw at 71.5lbs. only shot once.

Not sure how much they cost. But they say the spline is much stiffer, so the weight doesn't matter. Not sure how true this is. They are pretty cool though.

I have them and will be hunting with them this fall out of my HCA Iron Mace. Totally awesome what those arrows are capable of...

With that said - I would NOT recommend shooting them out of any bow that isn't warrantied for those arrows. They will void your warranty, and you're really playing with fire shooting those arrows out of a bow that isn't built to handle it.

They run around $100 a dozen. Funny you said it blew through the chrono target bag and into the wall. Same thing happened to me. People say a light arrow like that has no penetration power... LOL I ruined the paneling in my uncle's shop with it. Arrow still in one piece, too - amazingly.

Weight matters no matter how stiff! To me it is as if you are dry firing your bow with a setup that light and I would never shoot anything that light. Just my opion, not busting your chops.
