favorite lighted nock
i already know i wont hunt without lighted nocks. last year i used a homeade version. i didnt like it...fragile and didnt work well. i will just spend the couple bucks and buy a couple for my hunting usage. just dont know what ones work reliably, are dependable, are bright etc etc....anyone have some recomendations? leaning towards tracer nocks or archers flame. hear lumenocks can be hit or miss on weather or not they feel like working. i just want something reliable that i can see.

RE: favorite lighted nock
I've used luminoks the last 2 yrs and they have been touchy for me as well. They work some of the time, but not all the time.I haven't tried any others yet, but think it might be time.

If it fits to tight in your arrow you can sand the plastic down a little bit. Also, if its too loose there are little spacers you can place on the nock i think...

TRACER NOCKS...... after several posts on here from myself asking about them and finally today finding a pro shop that carries them and had a chance to see them up close! IMO they are the only ones trying to improve there designs! I dont think u can beat the magnetic on-off awesome! Ohhh and the after 10 second feature the nock will go into flash mode to save the life of the light, and i think it would be easier to find if it was to get lodged into brush or what not?
The only downside i can find on them is the 30grain weight to them, but everyone says that it should not effect them in their shot! I will be able to answer this question in a week or so! Definantely TRACER NOCK! GOOD LUCK with whatever you choose! |

I have to used luminocks with mixed results. last season me and my son both shot deer with no trouble with them, they performed flawlessy. BUT after shooting the deer with clean pass throughs they quit working after a bit.

RE: favorite lighted nock
The problem I've had with the lumenocks is that the posts on the side that create the electricl curcuit dig small dents into my carbon arrows. So I shoot very little with my hunting arrows and I'm always concerned about where theposts will make contact with the shaft. I love them but this is a concern for me as well. It also makes a huge difference in how well they fit into the shaft. You may have to sort through your arrows to get a good fit.
